Planning Storyboard ✏️

13/11/2019
Today we had to get put in groups, my groups cool. We are deciding to do a basketball-themed film in 30-35 seconds. What we did today was plan out our plot, create drawings and decide what camera shots we were going to use. This is will be a fun project and hope our idea comes out well.

So today my group is going to hopefully start filming today, decide who is versing in our fake basketball game. Edy should have been the one who wrote this today, but he said his Chromebook is falt. Anyways we are also going to go back over our plan and maybe start filming today.

Right now my group is going to get our gear for filming since no one brought a basketball we are going to go borrow one from the school gym, we are hoping it get the rest of our shots today and hopefully start editing soon.

So our next steps is to get imovie and check our progress and hopefully get onto editing in the next day or so.

20/11/2019
With this Wednesday today the group will hopefully get more shots and some more footage for the film. After we will put it all together tomorrow if we have English and see where we are at. We would like this to be the last day of filming so we can start creating and hopefully get more shots if needed. Also we would like to complete it a little early so we can not worry about time limit.

Basically we filmed some more shots and now we are ready to review our film and make it up tomorrow hopefully and maybe get more shots tomorrow.

Well we have already put the film together and it's 24 seconds long, so we might have to film some extra stuff to make it a full 30 seconds.

Now we are going to edit next and then we will review it from then.

ESOL


The best hot chocolate recipe ever!!
  • ¼ teaspoon - vanilla extract 
  • 1 cup of fresh milk 
  • 2 to 3 teaspoon of Hershey's cocoas 
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar 
  • ⅓ marshmallows

Utensils 
  • 1 cup
  • ¼ teaspoon
  • ⅓ cup
  • Cup to put your milk

method
  • Put vanilla extract on your fresh milk (mix it) (you could also microwave your milk if you want)
  • Put 2 tablespoons of sugar on your fresh milk with your vanilla extract (mix it together)
  • Put your 2 to 3 teaspoon of Hershey's cocoas
  • (optional) put your marshmallows

Enjoy your hot chocolate

Environmental Sustainability

Paragraph 1

Being sustainable and cleaning the planet may seem as a hassle knowing their is a lot of people in the earth. The natural resources in the earth regrow, we humans and other living being use it for necessary needs or desires. But overusing them may lead them to be endangered or even extinct which in their regrowth rate is much more lower than the rate we collect from them. Also we need to have a fair sense of distributing things around so that one does not have more than the other. Climate changes and global warming are important things to consider as the environment of an animal or plant may go into a state of degradation in which it makes it harder for them to replenish.

Paragraph 2
Keeping the earth sustainable is vital to keep our species alive along with the other living being in it. I think that it also help people to think insightful of the future of whats going to happen if we weren't sustainable. For example, if we overused a specific species of animal to the point it cannot reproduce fast enough to balance our consumption. They wouldn't probably stay long and even the newer generations of people may not get to see or interact with them. Therefore this is why I think being sustainable is important and how it can affect everybody.

colour is important in creating the two worlds and showing the theme ' looks can be deceiving!' this is shown when comparing the study's in the real and other worlds. the real world study is dull, dowdy and cold with a grey and blue colour palette, this makes the audience feels like the space is miserable and unpleasant to be in . the director this to show that coraline is  upset that her father is too busy to spend time with her. Juxtaposed to this is the study in the other world. Artificial oranges and reds make the other study feel warm, welcoming and enticing. Selick does this to show the audience that this is the kind of world Coraline world like to live in .colour is used to make the other world feel like a safe place but it is actually a trap to lure in coraline and steal her SOUL!.
