SOST 2020

P.E athletics

for the past 6 week for P.E we had athletics. i really love doing P.E and me finding out were doing athletics for 6 weeks i was really happy, for the first 3 weeks i didn't really enjoy it because their were a lit bit drama happening. luckily at week 4 my P.E our teachers changed thing around, because for the first 3 week we had to go all together as a class and some of us didn'njt get alone so it was really hard for us to have fun and actually doing what we had to do. but our teacher could tell the their was stuff happening and we also told them about the problem we had, and so they had an idea to change things around at week 4. At week 4  we had a choice to go and make our small group (which our class was happy about) i was in group of 4 me,Trisha,Cameron and Lorelei, 

athletics day for my events i choose to do javelin,shot put,high jump,long jump and 100m sprint. i was really proud of my javelin for having 15m, but i wasn't really proud of my 100m sprint becuase i ddin;t try my hardest and i stop running at 90m.

What's figurative languages 

is when a writer describes something by comparing it with some else. it is writing that goes from the actual meaning of the words at face value to getting special meaning

while figurative language uses similes, metaphor, hyperbole and personification to describe something through comparison with something different

1. simile - when you compares two different things in a interesting way 
2. alliteration - similar sounds at the beginning of the words or in stressed syllables
3. onomatopoeia - describing a sound and actually mimics the sound of the object or action it refers to when it is spoken
4. metaphors - is  used to make comparison between two thing that are not the same but do have something in common
5. hyperbole - is an exaggeration used for emphasis or humour. it is often used to make certain element of a story seem more interesting 
6. sound device and figurative tern that us made up if a series if vowel sounds in non-rhyming words 
7.  idiom - it's a common word or phrase which means something different from it's literal meaning but can be understood because of their popular use
