LO: finding out different names of equipment in the science room and what they are used for

     

Beaker

Beaker there are four sizes of beakers for you to use on your lad desk-beaker hold solids or liquids.very poor accuracy - should only be used to sentiment   

Erlenmeyer flask use-Erienmeyer flasks holds solids or liquids that may release gases during a reaction or that are likely to splatter if stirred or heated

funnel

a funnel is use to aid in the transfer of liquids from one vessel to another. and will hold filter paper while filtering. it may be glass or plastic.    

test tube holder

a test tube holder is useful for holding a test tube which is too hot to handle  

test tubes

test tubes are used to mix chemicals. and also to heat chemicals.

reaction plates

reaction plates are used when we want to perform many small scale reaction at one time.it is like having lots of test tube available at one time.

pipe stem

the pipe stem triangle is used as a support for crucibles when being heated over a lad burner. it can be also used to support a funnel when filtering.  

Scissor Tongs

an instrument or tool used for picking things up without touching them with hands or fingers

spatula

spatula are used to transfer solid chemicals never insert a spatula directly into a reagent.

graduated cylinder

a graduated cylinder is used to more accurately measure volumes or liquid (probably your best everyday measuring tool) there are three sizes in your.

10 ml 50 ml 100 ml

Bunsen burner

Bunsen burner are used for heating nonvolatile liquid and solids.

My Way Of Answering Questions faster

Today me and my class was learning about how to use Chromebooks faster and look at shortcuts in math equations after that we got to do our own screencastify and here it is hope you enjoy.

My side show

MIss Elley shared us a side show, in the side show there are six side and we have to fell them up, i hope you like it  

Today my group and i made more of the Mini notebooks for the market day. i think tomorrow we might finish it. The lack of chating is still going on but we think and we know we can finish this on time. All we have to do is make a few more notebooks, draw the faces on the notebooks and make a poster for our stall on the 5th of July. We hope your school can go to our market day.

Business and Enterprise Reflection #5

For my our market day my group and I decided to make mini and large notebooks for market day.  I hope you will be free to come if you are it will be on the 5th of July. We know we can work hard on this till July the 5th. We need to just work as a team and get this done fast if we want students, to buy these mini notebooks. Hope you like the adverb poster!

And here are my 4 answers for today:

- We are learning to work as a team and making mini notebooks for the year 7 and 8 market day.
- By helping and giving ideas in the team to make these mini notebooks awesome.
- I achieve making the coloring paper mini notebooks and almost the plain big paper notebooks.
- Finishing our notebooks and less talking.
