our passion project is called move to improve. our inquiry question was: how can i change my lifestyle to improve my overall well- being


we learned how to design our own circuits for circuit training. we figured out 30%, 50% and 75% of our az effort


we did number of fitness tests like the 12 minute run, the sit-and-reach test, and an agility test. we repeated these test to check our progress.


we heard a talk from guest speaker josh Scott, a professional tract cyclist from Christchurch who is only 19 and competes internationally

we participated in ZUU fitness sessions with MR rees and Lawrence Clark, an ex head boy


we learned about nutrition and did an activity where we measured our how many teaspoons of sugar were in common lunchbox items

we learned about different apps you can used monitor nutrition

we learn  how to check our hearts rate, and about our maximum heart rate


we jogged to wycola park and looked at the fitness trail equipment

we designed our own fitness trails and presented these designs

we learned how to do interval training with running to improve recovery time
