This is the EOTC week

On term 4 we have a EOTC week. EOTC week is like trying new things that you never experience in your life. so we went 4 please Surfing, Adrenalin forest, sailing but it was canceled because it was raining and mega air.






So first we went to surfing and they teach us who to do body board and who to do Surfing. Mr Scott spared us to 3 groups I was in group 3 so we were the last one to go. First my group we to the body board first before we went to surfing. When we went body board and Surfing there were a a lot of seaweeds. When we first body board we have a  fish and chips then when we went to surfing it was really head because there were a a lot of seaweeds.

So when we went to Adrenalin forest it was really scary because it was really hay. so when we went there  they teach us the things thet you have to do is Adrenalin forest. it was my heaver first time going to Adrenalin forest. So then they finish teaching us then we went and try it a scary but I finish it but a don't like to go in there again then we eat then the another group came to swab because is time to swab then we swab then my group we to the Spencer park and it was really hat there were a last of fun things in there. there were volley ball.

then in Faraday we went to mega air and it was really fun and I be there for
 second time farm last year  i play dodge ball  and Alex heat my fest  with the ball and for a while is gettin really hat so I keep decking wither and i finish all of my wither.

 This term we have a assembly for year sixes. because we only have  2 or 3 weeks and we will be the end of the school. so faith and Samicele Siola and Kiesha they made a song  and it was really good and me and Willime we made and award for the teacher and this is the award we made

On term 4 2016 on November the 14 there were a big earthquake on the Canterbury and Kaikoura
is was a really big earthquake. At my home in Christchurch my family could feel the shake but I didn't feel it because I was asleep. My dad said the earthquake had been shaking for 2 min non stop. so I was sleeping
when I was sleeping my bed was shaking but was really sleeping I fell down in the ground and hurt my head. but we are okay.

about nutrition

This term for our topic we have be learning about nutrition. We have been doing this for three days. Mr T  have been teaching  as about it. Mr T teach as how can we look if the food is healthy. Mr T said if you buy same food look at the back of the foo you can see how mush sugar and if it healthy. like this photo dawn here

During the school holidays we went to the Hanmer Springs. Dad, Mum, me and my little brother love going to Hanmer Springs. We planned to go swimming four times and stay there for two days.We went up to Hanmer Springs on Thursday because the weather was warm.

On Thursday we packed our car with all our clothes and we went to  Pak n Save and bought some food. We bought chips, crackers, eggs, hot dogs, corned beef, soap and shampoo.

Then we were ready to drive to Hanmer. It was a long drive going to Hanmer Springs. When we were driving  we could see clean rivers. When we were driving me and my little brother were videoing because we like videoing when we are going to some thing. We drove straight to Hanmer Springs.

We stayed in the camping ground  for two days. The room we bought was so so small, we had 4 beds. Inside the room we had a small kitchen and small playground it was really cold in there the rain was not stopping. We do BBQ it was fun cooking the BBQ and wan we finish. when we ready to eat the BBQ.then we eat the BBQ outside the room it was really cold outside 

The next day we try to go to the waterfall because it is a long way from here but we heard a sound we thought that was a waterfall but it was just a river. Then next we went back in  the room  and got our clothes and went to the hot pool.

Next we finished getting our clothes and togs and we were ready to go to the hot pool. We  went to the hot pools and stayed there for 5 hours and Me and my little brother went to the slide and there were three slides. There was a black slide and a white one and another slide.

I had a good time with my family in the Hanmer Springs and it was fun. Going to the hot pool and doing the BBQ and staying in Camping ground and we went to the  waterfalls and I hope we will go to the Hanmer Springs In the next holidays.

 In term 3 Mr Scott and Mrs Mclachlan have be thinking about making videos. So Mr Scott and Mrs Mclachlan said to all of us in Ako Ngatahi that we have to make a film in groups. My group is Siola, Samicle, Keisha, Dakota. It was fun working with my group. For the first time we made the video we thought we wouldn't finish it because it was hard to make.

My group was made a music video called One Dance. I was the camera girl. My group names are Kiesha, Dakota, Siola and Samicle.  We be doing this video for 4 or 5 weeks. We just finished today and Mrs  Mclachlan showed our video at the assembly.

The hornby primary.school morning sport.

In The morning we have a sport bay it was really fan  my group is really kind because they share the bull to each other. we played basketball, hockey, volleyball and dutch ball. On  basketball we have to shoot the ball at the ring if you get the ball at the ring you have to go to the next line if you get in the again at ring   you are going to the next line if you getting  again next line and then it will be harder. At hockey we just going to play the normal way. At  volleyball we just going to play the normal way my. Favorite game is dutch ball if you don't know how to play this game 2  person well throw the ball the  person that is in the square  if the 1  person get hit  there will be throwing the ball to the  person.

                                                      First Draft

3, 2 ,1, Boom!!! 1961, I  was sent into space by Mark, he is my trainer. Not only that he is my only friend. Mark gave me a picture of us  together. I take it everywhere I go. Yes, I am a chimp and my name is Jake. They sent me to  space to see if chimps can survive for 65 years. This is more safe than sending people to space, well safer for humans not chimps. I was asleep for a long time…..

65 years later

I wake up and see the photo of Mark and I. I can see the stars shining all around me. But I do not remember why I am here and I see how many years and hours I have been here for. 65 years and 22 hours! Now I remember why I am here, Mark sent me in here to go to my home. Oh I said I see something shining in my eyes. I look carefully I said I think is something round, I shouted it is the earth. I can go home. Then I am really happy because I can go back to my home. But I don't know what to press. I look around at the rocket. I think this is the button and then I press the button. The rocket went Boom!!! I said what was that, I think I pressed the wrong button. Then I went really fast go to the earth.my heart is beteing like a dram and  my Body all going Fire words at my cher and than the parachute come out of  my rocke. The parachute helped me to  go to the earth. meri seif to land in. then I land in the earth. Then my rocket land in the earth and then I come out of my rocker before i come out in my rocket I close  my eyes and count to 5 and i count to 5 and go out of my rocket and then i open  my eyes and see the earth. The earth is looks like a old flower I said this is a bayram this is barren and than I close my eyes and count to 3 1,2,3... I open my slowly and scary place this is just a barren I open my eyes and it just and barren

My Worst day ever

It was a sunny day in the African Savannah.  I'm very excited! In my herd, my papa and my mama are the biggest buffalo ever and  me I’m just a calf. But one day I’m  gonna be the biggest buffalo ever.  We like to go in the river bank because the river bank  is nice and cold.

Suddenly my dad shouted “Run!” I felt really scared, because I can see and smell the lions behind me. Then they got me and I thought that I was going to die and the lion grabbed me near the water. Next a crocodile came out of the water and grabbed my tail. The lion and the crocodile began to fight over me.

Then the lions won the fight and dragged me out of the water. The lion still had me, but then my papa called all the big buffalo to come and fight the lions. My papa was very angry and he rammed the lions. Then the lion ran and hid.  

I’ve never been this happy before, because my papa and my mama didn't give up at me. I am back to the herd and I am very happy because I am a live
