Depression 
Definition - feeling like you have nothing and you don't know what to do

What causes Depression?
  • Abuse, Some children/Adults out in the world suffer from abuse some course from parents, Sexualy, or emotional abuse.

  • Death or a loss, When people lose loved ones or close to them they get sad about something they lock up there bodies and they forget about everything and are sad for a long time, some people get help when there sad.

  • Self harm, When people feel down they hurt themselves, most known as cutting. When people feel very down they feel like they have lost everything and they want to die so they cut their wrists legs just any were

How to stop  self harm and abuse.
  • Tell someone you can trust
  • Tell a family member
  • Go to a mentor or a counselor
  • Tell your doctor
  • Tell the school counsellor (if your at school)
  • Watch something that makes you happy 


What Is depression?
Depression is not a come and go type thing, People don't have a choice if they have it or not, it is a dessies you are born with. There are 16.2 million american Adults with depression. Everybody that has depression suffer.

Things you could do to help you calm down 

  • Go to the beach or bush, Listen to the sounds of nature and small fresh air 
  • Get out and do something physical, like going for a run, walk or do yoga 
  • Talk to friends 
  • Make dinner or lunch for your family 
  • Play with your pets if you got any
  • Draw 
  • Listening to music 

How do tell when someone is depressed 

Behaviour 
  • Not going out anymore 
  • Not getting things done at work/school
  • They talk less to people 
  • Not doing usual enjoyable activities 
  • Always wants to be alone 
  • Try to avoid people 
  • Eat less 
  • Always tired

Run, yoga, sports, fitness 
Mental & Emotional 
Tell your parents, tell a close friend, write how you feel on a paper, talk to the school counsellor
Watch a movie that makes you laugh, 
Spiritual 
Making a goal for yourself
Social
Stay off social media,
